Jay has over twenty five years of award-winning design experience ranging from brand identity, packaging, environment, print collateral, and product design. In his tenure as Executive Creative Director at Sterling Brands, he has led the creative efforts for clients including Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, T-Mobile, Bojangles, Harmless Harvest, Hickory Farms, ULTA Beauty, Chevron, Cost-Plus, Jamba Juice, Ross, Michael’s, Gap, and Napa Valley Vintners.
Prior to Sterling Brands, Jay served as the creative director for Atlas Snow-Shoe Company for five years. While at Atlas, Jay designed and directed all print collateral and merchandising programs as well as crafting the Atlas experience at their many trade shows. He also contributed to branding, R&D and product development initiatives within the company. Before joining Atlas, Jay designed for Dekker Babian in New York City where he worked for clients such as American Home Products, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC), Great Performances (PBS), Goldman Sachs & Co., Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Oppenheimer, Woolworth Corp.and US Trust.
When not in the studio, Jay can be found on a tennis court or more likely, on his home away from home—his sailboat—exploring the beauty of the San Francisco bay.
